02. Our Security Pillars
We implement multi-layered security to ensure your data is never compromised.
A. Encryption in Transit (TLS/SSL)
All data moving between your device and our servers is protected using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL) encryption. This ensures that your health data and personal information cannot be intercepted by third parties during transmission.
B. Encryption at Rest (Server-Side)
User data stored in our cloud databases is encrypted at rest. We utilize Google Firebase, which employs AES-256 encryption to protect stored data on their physical disks. Even in the unlikely event of physical hardware access, your data remains unreadable.
C. Secure Authentication
We use Firebase Auth for all login processes. Your passwords are never stored in plain text. When using Social Sign-In, your credentials are authenticated directly through the provider's secure servers (e.g., Google), and we only receive a secure token to verify your identity.
D. Local Data Sandboxing
The Application stores a local copy of your health logs on your device to enable offline access. This data is stored within the application's private "sandbox," which is isolated from other apps on your device by the operating system’s security architecture.
03. Data Sharing & Third Parties
- No Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal health information to advertisers or third parties.
- Service Providers: We use Google Cloud/Firebase for infrastructure. These providers are compliant with global security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2/3).
- Telemedicine: If you choose to consult a diabetologist through our platform, your records are shared only with that specific professional with your explicit consent.
04. Your Rights
You have full control over your data. At any time, you can:
- Access & Export: Request a copy of your stored health records.
- Correction: Update any inaccurate health or profile data.
- Deletion: Request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data from our servers.
